What to bring to a hairstyle consultation
#1
I enjoyed my previous short cut until I had to style it myself on a busy weekday. This time I am considering a bob and trying to work out which length would be manageable at home. There is a natural bend around my jawline, which makes very sleek reference pictures difficult for me to interpret. I saved a page while searching for blonde bob and would use it as a starting point for comparing outlines. I would keep the colour unchanged and focus on where the ends sit, rather than changing several things together. A front view alone seems insufficient; I would also want a side view and an idea of the back. At the consultation, I would ask which version is realistic when I let my hair dry with minimal styling. The most striking reference is not necessarily my first choice if maintaining it would take more time than I have. Has anyone with outward bending ends found a useful way to compare bob lengths before committing to a cut?
