A generated ambience for my game scene contains a small tick whenever playback returns to the beginning. The recording has a quiet grainy layer throughout, so I am trying to separate two possible problems. Changing the endpoints and testing a small crossfade seems like a reasonable place to begin. I found a reference to ai audio artifact removal during my search, but the editing order still matters. I still need to determine whether the boundary reveals an existing sound or creates a new discontinuity. Should I begin with the join and only then assess a continuous passage away from it? An untouched copy would make it easier to compare each edit with the starting point. The test should also use the same playback path as the game, since editor playback alone may miss something. Which check would help establish that the remaining distraction is independent of the loop boundary?
