A. FOREIGN PARTNERSHIP:
I. SABMILLER BREWERY, ONITSHA
Obi, in his relentless quest for indistinct development and job creation, entered into partnership with foreign investors. One of such partnerships gave to SABMiller Brewery, Onitsha, a joint partnership venture between Intafact of South Africa and the Anambra State Government. Located at the Bridge Head, Onitsha, SABMiller employs thousands of Nigerian youths and and has boosted business activities in Onitsha with now popular brands such as Hero Beer, Redds, Grand Malt, Budweiser, etc.
II. DISTELL WORLDWIDE:
New Distell Bottling Company was planned, agreement made and foundation laid by Obi in Ozubulu but the succeeding government halted the process. The foreign partners counted their loses, left while the projected revenue and jobs for Anambrarians were lost.
B. SUPPORTING INDIGENOUS INDUSTRIES & MANUFACTURING COMPANIES:
The Obi Administration collaborated with indigenous industries and manufacturing companies existing in the state by providing the needed support and encouragement to boost their operation, performance and sustenance in the state. The support came in terms of provision of access roads and the enabling environment needed for business to thrive. Such companies include Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing company (IVM) Nnewi; Chikason Industries Ltd, Nnewi; Curtix cable Ltd, Nnewi; Krisoral Group Ltd, Onitsha; Orange Drugs, Onitsha, Dozzy Group Ltd, etc.
I. INNOSON Vehicle Manufacturing company (IVM):
Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing company (IVM) Nnewi, the first indigenous auto Manufacturing company in Nigeria is one of the many companies that enjoyed massive support from Obi Administration.
II. THE AGULU LAKE RESORT.
Obi did not resting in his determination and resolve to make Anambra State the Commercial hub of south Eastern Nigeria. One of his strategies to achieving this was the development of the Tourism potentials of the State. The Agulu Lake Resort at the famous Agulu crocodile lake is one of the tourism development initiatives of the Governor Peter Obi Administration. He initiated it, built it to appreciable level and kept aside the funds to complete it to furnishing level. It’s now completed.
III. THE FIVE STAR PROTEA HOTEL, ONITSHA
Located in the serene environment of the GRA Onitsha, the Five Star Protea Hotel was a PPP initiative by Obi aimed at encouraging tourism. The hotel was designed to provide class and hospitality to the ever growing investors trouping into Anambra State. It would have also provided solution to the capital flight into neighbouring states by Anambrarains seeking for quality hotel facilities, services and hospitality. This project, with funds for completion set aside before handover, was regrettably abandoned by succeeding government.
IV. NEW STRIDES IN COMMERCE: SHOPPING MALLS:
The construction of international shopping malls at the major cities of Anambra State was a practical demonstration of the Obi administration’s resolve to position Anambra State as the true commerical and investment hub of South- Eastern Nigeria. The shopping malls located at Awka, Onitsha and Nnewi, would have housed international brands and businesses, and would have given a major boost to the commercial and tourism potentials of the state. They would have also created over 10,000 jobs for Anambrarians in one year.
Regrettably once more, only the mall at Onitsha was completed. The one at Awka was abandoned at advanced stage while the Nnewi Mall didn’t even take off from foundation despite all funds for the completion of the three malls set aside before handover. The succeeding government wasn’t interested.

Note that these pictures were taken when he had no intention of aspiring for the presidency of Nigeria. They were only taken for record purposes and to guide his successor towards the CONTINUITY Okwute promised the people.
Tomorrow we go into the Agriculture Sector.
And please do continue sharing until it gets to all Nigerians.
