According to the information Family Writers Press International obtained from “The Nations Newspaper” this morning, seven more suspects out of the arrested murderers of the Anambra State Lawmaker, Justice Azuka have died in police custody. The news had it that the suspects died of tetanus as a result of the gunshot wounds they sustained during a shootout with the Anambra State Police Force before their arrest.
The Anambra State Police Public Relations Officer (PRO) Tochukwu Ikenga had publicly denied this news, stating that it is not true. Another top police officer in the state who pleaded anonymity ironically said that the seven suspects have traveled, meaning that they have died.
Recall that about two weeks ago that the Anambra State Police command reported that two out of the arrested suspects have escaped from the police custody and now, seven more have died, making it a bit difficult for people to know the hirers of the assassins who tragically murdered the innocent citizen of the state.
We know that eleven suspects were arrested in connection to the murder of the lawmaker. Since two have escaped and another seven have died, it is now very obvious that the Anambra State Police Command are trying to hide something here. They want to hide the identity of those that hired the murderers.
The public are interested in this case and so, the Anambra State Police command should not even attempt sweeping it under the carpet. The public want to know those involved in the death of Honourable Azuka.
