In response to the recent comments made by Mr. Nyesom Wike referring to H.E. Mr. Peter Obi as a “social media president,” we wish to set the records straight.
Mr. Wike, your history of political betrayal and opportunism is well known. You are a man who has consistently undermined every platform and every ally that once elevated you. You betrayed your own party, the PDP; you destabilized your own state; and today, you shamelessly parade yourself in the corridors of power, desperately seeking relevance.
Let it be known that Peter Obi does not require your validation. Whether you support him or not, history records that Mr. Peter Obi won the 2023 presidential election fair and square in the hearts and votes of the Nigerian people. Your comments reveal nothing but fear, fear of the new Nigeria Mr. Obi represents, a nation where touts, thugs, and self-imposed godfathers will no longer have access to public resources.
A greedy so called minister of FCT, who’s forcing himself to be a godfather, demanding the state resources the governor is using to develop the state are in no moral position to criticize a man whose only weapon is integrity, competence, and service.
You knew much better if had Peter Obi become a president he won’t allow tout and thug like you close to any reasonable national assets, that’s why you and your fellow thugs did everything possible to make sure the power was snatched from him, now I asked you wike, is that what you termed capacity?
You lack the strength and capacity to support Peter Obi, you haven’t gotten the integrity yet.
Even in your state, Rivers State, Peter Obi emerged victorious despite all attempts to suppress the people’s will. Nigerians, INEC officials, and even those in power know the truth.
Finally, Mr. Wike, a simple question: today, are you PDP or APC? Or are you merely loyal to yourself and the highest bidder?
The Obidient Movement remains focused on building a new Nigeria where true leadership, not political thuggery, will thrive. We advise you to focus on your own legacy — history is already writing it, and it is not flattering.
