Mr. Peter Obi’s Extraordinary Capacity and Service to Humanity and the Nigerian Nation

‎By Hon. Amb. Kingland Justin

‎Yesterday was yet another day I experienced incredible energy of His Excellency, Mr. Peter Obi. He arrived with air peace, and when he arrived, while we were sitted inside the car, he told me that he have 9 events to attend.

‎His Excellency, Mr. Peter Obi remain an extra ordinary and an envy to the land, he was extremely busy yesterday, being that I was close to him throughout yesterday, I witnessed a man who in his calmness carried out all his scheduled engagements with dedication, compassion, and tireless energy that have made him the most respected political figure in Nigeria today.

‎Upon his arrival at the Anambra Airport he immediately proceeded to Ibusa in Delta State, where he attended the solemn Mass for Late Chief Raphael Odisha Ezeoba (JP), the father of Vice Admiral Dele Joseph Ezeoba (Rtd), at St. Thomas Catholic Church Ibusa.
‎From Ibusa, he moved to Nibo for the funeral of Late Engr. Chief (Dr.) Ichie Sir Innocent I. Akuvue, KSJI (Ozo Ochudo Nibo) a great philanthropist who touched many lives, where he offered his sympathy and prayed for the happy repose of the deceased.

‎From Nibo, His Excellency proceeded to Nri for yet another funeral ceremony of Emeritus Prof. Nduka Okafor (Nnanyelugo) OON, FAS, asking God to accept his soul and grant him eternal rest.

‎From Nri, Mr. Peter Obi headed to Alor, the residence of former Governor and former Minister of Labour, H.E. Dr. Chris Ngige, to personally condole with him over the attack on his convoy which tragically claimed a life and injured another. His presence brought comfort and solidarity.

‎He immediately left to Dominican Sisters College, Abatete, where he donated ₦10 million to support their ongoing building project, a project he commenced by himself through some of his friends. Note that Mr Peter Obi had earlier donated ₦25 million to the school in July and personally laid the foundation for one of their hostels, now nearing completion.
‎Afterwards, and from there he travelled to Nnewi to visit Chief Olisa Metu on the occasion of his 60th birthday, wishing him peace, long life, and good health.

‎As he headed towards Ukpor, security concerns was raised, and he was advised to halt further movement to Ukpor due to rising insecurity. His protocol team immediately switched plans and flew him to Abuja on the next available flight to continue with his other meetings.

‎Despite all these physical engagements, Mr. Peter Obi still attended three Zoom meetings, where he was scheduled to speak. All through the journey, I was with him and I observed something very remarkable, he spoke only about schools he wants to build, the welfare of the poor, hospitals he intends to support, charity projects he plans to strengthen, and how to tackle insecurity and invest in education.
‎Not once did he talk about himself, his comfort, his rest, his family, or personal interests, and I asked myself, what manner of man is Peter Obi? (Okwanu Onye Nzoputa) meaning he’s a savior of mankind.

‎This is the mark of a true leader.

‎Mr. Peter Obi’s strength is extraordinary no politician, I mean dead or alive in the history of Nigeria politics has consistently demonstrated this level of energy, selflessness, public service, compassion, and empathy for the people. He is loved across tribes, religions, states, and generations because Nigerians can see sincerity in him.
‎This is the lifestyle of a man fully committed to building a better country.

‎A New Nigeria is POssible
