Olisa Metuh, former National Publicity Secretary of the PDP, has reacted to the reports that Peter Obi has dumped the PDP. In a post on Facebook, Metuh warned that Peter Obi’s resignation is a huge loss to the PDP as he went on to reveal how Peter Obi, in 2001, proved that he is a force to be reckoned with Reacting to Peter Obi’s resignation from the PDP, Olisa Metuh who has always been a supporter of Peter Obi’s presidential bid expressed sadness. He also warned the PDP that Obi is a social media fave as well as an electoral machine and the party will regret losing him.

Metuh also reminded people who believe that Peter Obi’s political future is dead for leaving the PDP, of how the former governor of Anambra State became a top dog in the State’s politics shortly after he left the PDP in 2001.

Metuh alleged that In 2001, Peter Obi identified with the AFP, which was a big force within the Anambra PDP. He said during one of the APF meetings hosted by Sir Emeka Offor in Ikoyi, Peter Obi wasn’t allowed to talk and he was laughed at by most of the politicians. He added that Peter Obi later left the PDP and joined APGA where he sold himself to the people [Peter Obi eventually became a two-term governor of Anambra State on the platform of APGA]
