Official Response to Reno Omokri’s Misinformation on Peter Obi – NNPO
Outcome of the Meeting Between the National Coordinator of the Obidient Movement
It has come to our attention that Mr. Reno Omokri, in his usual pattern of misinformation, lies and desperation for peanut appointment, falsely claimed that Peter Obi did not build any schools during his time as Governor of Anambra State.
This is an outright lie — a desperate attempt to seek favor from a corrupt system while attacking a man whose legacy is based on truth and service.
THE FACTS ARE CLEAR:
Peter Obi built and rehabilitated over 100 schools across Anambra State.
He returned mission schools to churches and funded them generously with billions of naira, leading to an education revolution.
He expanded Anambra State University (now Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University) into three campuses:
Uli
Igbariam
Awka
Under Peter Obi’s leadership, Anambra moved from 24th to 1st place in WAEC and NECO results nationwide, a record no amount of propaganda can erase.
Peter Obi’s recent comments about the danger associated with students aged 16–17 to write JAMB exams at 6:30 am, at a time when insecurity is ravaging Nigeria, were based on compassion and reality.
Only recently, a young girl went missing while travelling for her JAMB exam, a heartbreaking example of why such arrangements must be reconsidered. Yet, Reno Omokri chooses to mock and attack such genuine concerns.
Nigerians must ask:
Why would a man ignore the plight of children for cheap political points?
Why is Reno Omokri silent on matters of rape and injustice involving his own family, yet quick to insult a man who genuinely served?
It is on record that:
In 2015, Reno Omokri was linked to a ₦25 million armed robbery allegation.
In 2024, Pastor Isaac Omokri, Reno’s brother, was alleged to have raped a 15-year-old minor inside a church.
These crimes against humanity cannot be washed away with social media noise.
His Excellency Mr. Peter Obi’s legacy stands strong. His achievements are documented, verifiable, and respected nationwide.
Reno Omokri’s smear campaign cannot erase the truth.
Nigerians, go and verify! NNPO stands with integrity, truth, and the future.
