His Excellency Mr. Peter Obi has continued to show leadership rooted in compassion, faith, and humanity. On 14 January, he attended the dedication of the Mary Mother of Assumption (Our Lady of Assumption) Cathedral in Nnewi, Anambra State. The event brought together church leaders, government officials, and worshippers to thank God for the completion of the cathedral.
Congregation responded with loud applause and ovation as Peter Obi recognized at the event, showing the love and respect many people have for him.
The cathedral dedication was not just a religious ceremony but a symbol of unity and hope for the people. By attending, Peter Obi demonstrated his belief in the role of moral values, and faith in building a better society.
Mr. Peter Obi also paid a condolence visit following the tragic death of three brothers who lost their lives in a fire incident in Lagos. He attended their burial to mourn with the family and share in their pain during the difficult moment.
Through these actions, Peter Obi has shown that leadership is not only about politics but also about standing with people in moments of joy and sorrow.
His consistent presence at both sacred celebrations and times of grief highlights his deep sense of empathy and responsibility to the people.
