PRESS RELEASE- NNPO: The Man of Integrity — H.E. Peter Obi Cannot Be Slandered by a fading actor and political Opportunist

The Man of Integrity
In the face of recent reckless and attention-seeking remarks made by Mr. Kenneth Okonkwo, we the concerned voices within the New Nigeria is POssible NNPO, and patriotic Nigerians across the world feel compelled to speak firmly and clearly.
Mr. Kenneth Okonkwo, a once celebrated Nollywood actor, has chosen the route of political desperation and public betrayal in a failed bid to stay relevant. His recent baseless claim that H.E. Mr. Peter Obi allegedly called him a “betrayer” is not only false, it is a shameful fabrication aimed at attracting cheap relevance through slander.
LET IT BE MADE CLEAR : Peter Obi is not just a man, he is a symbol of integrity, vision, humility, and nation-first leadership. For a man of such proven moral compass and character, it is unthinkable to stoop to the level Kenneth is attempting to drag him to.
THE TRUTH IS SIMPLE : Kenneth Okonkwo is no political heavyweight. He is an opportunist, leveraging the Obidient Movement to gain political clout, and when the spotlight shifted from him, he turned to sabotage and smear tactics. Sadly, this act of betrayal is not new to him. What’s new is the depth of desperation now on public display.
We have seen this pattern before, a fading actor seeking a new stage, using slander as his audition.
Rather than build, Kenneth now seeks to destroy. Rather than align with the values that drew millions to the Obidient Movement, he chooses noise over nation-building, bitterness over brotherhood, and manipulation over maturity.
LET IT BE KNOWN: you cannot bring down a man who has been lifted by truth, loved by the people, and rooted in purpose. Peter Obi remains Nigeria’s hope, a visionary whose integrity has stood the test of time.
We call on the public to ignore these distractions and remain focused on the mission: a new Nigeria is possible, and Peter Obi remains the most credible, competent and compassionate leader to bring that vision to life.
Signed ,
