Happy Democracy Day, Nigeria
Happy Democracy Day, Nigeria
My Dear Nigerians,
As we commemorate this year’s Democracy Day, I extend my warmest greetings to every Nigerian at home and in the diaspora.
Today is a reminder that democracy is not merely about elections; it is about building a nation where justice, equity, accountability, and the welfare of the people remain our highest priorities. It is about ensuring that every citizen has a voice, an opportunity, and a reason to believe in the future of our great nation.
While our country continues to face significant challenges, I remain steadfast in my belief that Nigeria can rise above them. Our strength lies not in our differences, but in our collective determination to build a nation that works for all.
I encourage every Nigerian, especially our youths, to remain committed to the democratic process, uphold the values of integrity and good governance, and continue to play their part in nation-building. Let us never lose hope. Let us continue to demand accountability, participate actively, and work together towards a better future.
On this Democracy Day, let us renew our commitment to creating a Nigeria where leadership serves the people, where productivity replaces consumption, where security is guaranteed, and where every citizen can thrive.
Together, we can build the New Nigeria we seek.
A New Nigeria is POssible.
Happy Democracy Day, Nigeria.
