NNPO Concludes West African Mobilization Tour with a Powerful Message: A New Nigeria is Possible, and So is a New Africa

NNPO Concludes West African Mobilization Tour
NNPO-Accra : Wednesday, 4/6/2025
Hon. Amb. Justin Kingland, the PRO/National Spokesman of the Directorate of Mobilization, for Obidient Movement, and Founder of New Nigeria is POssible – aka- Nigeria Needs Peter Obi, (NNPO), has successfully concluded the critical mobilization tour across key West African countries including Ghana, Togo, Abidjan, Liberia, and Sierra Leone. The tour has been described as not just impactful but revolutionary in awakening a pan-African consciousness around the vision of a new Nigeria championed by His Excellency, Mr. Peter Obi.
Unlike the 2023 efforts which were largely NNPO-led, this 2025 tour in preparation for 2027 transformed into a collective effort spearheaded by the entire Nigerian community in the WA-Diaspora. “This is no longer just an NNPO affair, it is now the people’s affair. In 2023, we secured over 50,000 diaspora votes from West Africa alone. By 2027, we are setting our sights on mobilizing over 1 million votes,” said Kingland.
According to his findings, there are over 5 million Nigerians living in West African countries, and about 70% of them are registered voters. The NNPO’s renewed strategy is focused on encouraging at least 3 million of them to return home and vote in 2027 for no other candidate but His Excellency Peter Obi.
Kingland emphasized, “We are winning in Nigeria. We are winning in West Africa. This is no longer just a Nigerian issue, it is an African issue. The naira crisis, the oil problems, and political instability in Nigeria ripple across the entire continent. People in bureaus de change and markets across West Africa are feeling the pinch. That shows Nigeria is a major factor in Africa’s destiny.”
He declared Peter Obi not just a national asset, but a global statesman whose leadership will not only redeem Nigeria but set a new tone for progress across Africa. “When Mr. Obi says ‘A New Nigeria is Possible,’ he also implies that A New Africa is Possible.” While touring the WA countries, I asked the locals about the man Peter Obi and I was amazed that everyone knows him, more awesome that they referred to him as the president and when I asked them why are they calling him the president, they said that he won the election, Kingland said.
On the topic of coalitions, Hon. Kingland was clear: “Coalition or no coalition, Peter Obi is winning. In 2023, we didn’t have any coalition and yet he emerged victorious in the minds of the people. If there’s to be a coalition, it must be with Peter Obi as the presidential candidate. He cannot be relegated to vice president under any incompetent alliance.”
Addressing distractions from opposition voices, he firmly stated: “A thousand distractions from the likes of Soludo, Omokri or Sowore and the rest of them won’t shake our movement. Peter Obi is laser-focused on the people and doesn’t entertain petty distractions.”
His Excellency Mr. Peter Obi is not just a candidate, he is a movement. A man of proven integrity, competence, and vision, Peter Obi represents the collective hope of millions of Nigerians and Africans who believe in leadership that works.
In 2023, he inspired a generation. In 2027, he is ready to lead a transformation.
From tackling corruption and restructuring the economy to restoring dignity to governance and rebuilding Nigeria’s global image—Peter Obi is the answer.
He understands the language of the youth, the struggles of the everyday Nigerian, and the urgency of economic revival. He has shown through his record that leadership is about service, not self-interest.
With Peter Obi as President, Nigeria will rise. Africa will awaken. The future will begin.
Throughout his tour, Hon. Kingland also advocated for electoral reforms and urged Nigerians in the diaspora to join voices and stand up for democratic transformation in Nigeria. His message resonated across communities, inspiring confidence that the winds of change are blowing once again, this time stronger and more unified.
