‘E Go Loud, It’s Peter Obi Or Nothing’ – Fayose Declares
January 29, 2026
Fayose made the declaration on Thursday in reaction to the massive crowd that turned out for Obi during the Federal Capital Territory Area Council election campaign.
In a post on his Facebook page, Fayose described the turnout at the campaign as a strong signal of Obi’s growing political influence, insisting that the former governor remained the only option for Nigerians ahead of the next general election.
“Humongous crowd turns out for Peter Obi during FCT council poll campaign. It’s PETER OBI or nothing. E go loud,” Fayose wrote.
Naija News reports that Peter Obi was in the FCT on Monday to campaign for candidates of the African Democratic Congress ahead of the Area Council elections.
The former Anambra governor addressed supporters across several locations during the campaign exercise.
Speaking during the campaign, Obi said his participation was aimed at engaging directly with local communities and promoting a leadership style anchored on service, accountability and people-oriented governance.
According to him, leadership at the grassroots level remains critical to building a responsive and effective democratic system.
The FCT campaign and the massive turnout have continued to fuel discussions within political circles, with supporters of Obi seeing the development as an early sign of what the 2027 presidential contest could look like.
