Police warning about accommodation of strangers

VERY IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Any new tenant you can not verify his/her identity must not be accommodated.
Don’t allow any stranger to enter your compound or house for the first time. He/she may be a spy sent to see how your security apparatus looks like.
Don’t let unfamiliar okada men drop you at your exact doorstep any longer. Drop at least two houses before yours. Even if you have a load to carry, let the unfamiliar okada man leave before you call your family to help you.
Houses with shops must be extra careful. It doesn’t take more than a minute to snap your identity or evaluate what is in your shop. That may attract burglars.
Warn landlords to stop entertaining scoters/floaters and attached friends to their tenants. Any tenant who turns his room to brothel must be flushed out without delay.
Let us all be watchmen in our neighbourhood. Most of the people picking scraps (condemned iron/metals) around are into something else. LET’S BE WATCHFUL PLEASE!
Shops, restaurants and beer parlours are advised to close early while churches can turn Vigils to evening programs, not extending beyond twiliĝht. They should as well BEWARE OF FIRST TIME CUSTOMERS/WORSHIPPERS.
Don’t leave any of your accessories close to the window when you want to sleep. It is prone to pilfering.
Don’t reveal your location on social media.
Buy a whistle! If you notice any strange movement around your place at the dead hour of the night, BLOW THE WHISTLE TO ALERT THE NEIGHBOURHOOD. Remember equally to alert security agencies nearest to you on phone.
You’re advised not to go to bed without having some airtime on your phone.
Try to obtain the phone numbers of the accredited security agencies and those of your neighbors in your community. I pray we won’t fall prey to any of the security challenges permeating our country, Amen
