Nigerian Afrobeat star Davido recognized as “Outstanding Georgia Citizen”

Davido, real name David Adedeji Adeleke, was born in Atlanta, Georgia and raised in Lagos, Nigeria.
He burst onto the Afrobeat scene in 2011 and has since become one of Africa’s biggest artists, receiving three nominations at the 66th Annual Grammy Awards in November for his songs “Unavailable,” “Feel “and his album “Timeless.”
