I was glad to attend a colourful hosting of Gov Alex Otti of Abia State, celebrating his accomplishments in the positive, proactive dispensation of governance in Abia State, by a group of friends in Lagos led by Nnamdi Okonkwo, Iheanyi Nzekwe, Udy Kalu, Uzo Kalu, Chuks Onyebuchi, Ken Ahia SAN, Chibuike Achigbu, Charles Nwodo, Chidi Ajaegbu and others.
Dr. Alex Otti has done exceptionally well as the executive governor of Abia State and has shown us how much development is possible in a small time frame when one is committed to providing authentic leadership and advancement for his people.
It was a gorgeous evening graced by his friends, well-wishers, and colleagues in government. Also, wasn’t it a pleasant surprise when the Gov of Lagos, Babajide Sanwolu, accompanied Gov Otti to the reception?
It was an honour to have been given an opportunity to speak and I used the opportunity to appreciate them for their performance. I am glad I got them cracking when I informed them they both have a duty to ensure I join their club soon so we can have more performing governors in the country.
