Meeting at the NAF Conference Centre

Today in Abuja, the nation’s capital, I had the honour of joining other distinguished Nigerians that included former President Olusegun Obasanjo, former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, and many others, at the NAF Conference Centre, for the public presentation of the autobiography of the former Governor of Jigawa state/ former Former Minister of Foreign Affairs, His Excellency Sule Lamido, titled ‘Being True to Myself’

It is always a moment of deep reflection and learning when elder statesmen share their stories of humble beginnings, sacrifices, leadership, and service to humanity. Documenting such experiences is not only a way of preserving history; it is a valuable tool for educating and inspiring present and future generations.

May we never tire of telling our stories, honouring our history, and striving always to serve Nigeria faithfully and selflessly
